Product Overview
The Pool Tool 104-D Inline Anode provides sacrificial corrosion protection for compatible swimming pool systems. When different metals are present in a pool environment, galvanic activity can accelerate deterioration of susceptible metal components. The sacrificial anode is designed to attract this corrosive activity and deteriorate instead of more valuable pool equipment.
The 2-inch slip x slip configuration allows the 104-D to be installed inline with compatible PVC plumbing. Because the sacrificial material is intentionally consumed during operation, the anode should be periodically inspected and replaced as necessary to maintain protection.
