The Pentair 013068 IntelliPro3 VSF 1.5 HP is the fully loaded 1.5 THP IntelliPro3, with both the color touchscreen controller and the I/O relay board fitted at the factory. It is the trade grade version of the IntelliFlo3 VSF: sensorless flow technology, dual voltage 115/208-230V, Pentair Pool app control and up to 90 percent lower energy use than a single speed pump, plus digital inputs and relay outputs for tying in heaters, salt cells and third party automation.

What is the difference between IntelliPro3 and IntelliFlo3?

Same pump, same motor, drive and hydraulics. IntelliPro3 is Pentair's trade grade line sold through pool professionals and carries its own warranty terms. The IntelliFlo3 equivalent of the 013068 is the 011068.

Which 1.5 HP IntelliPro3 do I need?

013065 is the base pump for pads with Pentair automation. 013066 adds the I/O board. 013067 adds the touchscreen. 013068 has both, and is the right choice if you have no Pentair automation and want to tie in a heater, salt cell or another brand of controller.

What does the I/O board actually do?

It gives the pump four digital inputs and two relay outputs. An external controller, heater or timer can close an input to call for a programmed speed or flow, and the pump's relays can switch other equipment on and off so a heater or salt cell never runs without flow.

Will it run on 115V?

Yes. It auto senses 115V or 208-230V. On 115V the full load draw is 12 A, so confirm your breaker and wire size.

Does it fit my existing plumbing?

Unions for 1.5 in and 2 in pipe are in the box. It replaces most IntelliFlo, SuperFlo, WhisperFlo and competitor pumps on the same pad footprint.
