Great White® is a non-hardening pipe joint compound with PTFE designed to lubricate and seal threaded connections. The white, low-odor formula can be used on plastic and metal threads in piping systems carrying water, steam, caustics, or dilute acids.

This 16 fl oz container includes a convenient in-lid brush for application and is formulated to allow easier disassembly without stripping or damaging threads.

Product Overview

Great White® Pipe Joint Compound with PTFE is formulated to lubricate and seal threaded joints across a range of plumbing and piping applications. It is compatible with materials including PVC, CPVC, ABS, polypropylene, iron, steel, and copper, making it useful for both plastic and metal threaded connections.

The compound withstands pressures up to 10,000 PSI on liquids from -50°F to 500°F and up to 3,000 PSI on gases from -50°F to 400°F. It is also approved for use with FlowGuard Gold, BlazeMaster, and Corzan piping systems.
