Octobond Two-Part Part-A is a 65 lb dry mix designed for use as one component of the Octobond two-part bonding system. When used with the required Part-B polymer bonding agent, the system creates a hard, rough-textured base coat over properly prepared pool, spa, or pond substrates.
The resulting surface is designed to promote both mechanical and chemical bonding of new pool plaster and plaster finishes.

Product Overview
Octobond is a synthetic resin-modified cementitious bonding system designed to prepare properly prepared substrates for a new plaster finish. Once applied, it creates a hard, textured surface similar to gunite in appearance and function, providing a suitable base for subsequent pool plaster application.
The OB2PTA is specifically the 65 lb Part-A dry mix for the two-part Octobond system. It is not the complete bonding system by itself; the corresponding OB2PTB liquid Part-B polymer bonding agent is sold separately and is required for the two-part application.
