DPD 3 is a liquid reagent for Total Chlorine testing with compatible LaMotte chlorine comparators and colorimeters. It is added to a water sample after the Free Chlorine test has been completed with DPD 1A and DPD 1B, allowing the instrument or comparator to determine Total Chlorine.
The P-6743-H is supplied in a 60 mL (2 oz) bottle for replacement and refill applications.

Product Overview
DPD 3 Total Chlorine Reagent is used during the second stage of the DPD chlorine testing procedure. After Free Chlorine has been measured using DPD 1A and DPD 1B, DPD 3 is added to the reacted sample and the sample is tested again to determine Total Chlorine concentration.
The P-6743-H configuration contains 60 mL of DPD 3 liquid reagent. LaMotte also offers the same reagent in a 30 mL size under part number P-6743-G, making the 60 mL version suitable when a larger replacement supply is needed.
