The Jandy APUREM is the AquaPure Power Pack, the control center that runs a Jandy salt chlorination system. It converts incoming AC power into the low voltage DC current the salt cell needs to produce chlorine from the salt already dissolved in your pool water. The unit is field switchable, so one power pack covers PureLink, ClorMatic, and Nature2 Fusion Soft cell kits.

This is the power pack only. The salt cell is a separate purchase. Jandy replaced the older all in one part numbers with this two piece setup: what used to be ordered as APURE700 is now APUREM plus a PLC700 cell, and what used to be APURE1400 is now APUREM plus a PLC1400 cell. If you are replacing a failed controller and your existing cell is still good, this is the part you need.

The front panel LCD gives you live readings on chlorine output, cell mode, salinity, water temperature, and water flow, plus built in diagnostics for troubleshooting. Output is adjustable in precise increments so you can dial production to your pool size and season. The enclosure is powder coated steel and the unit integrates with AquaLink and iAquaLink automation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this include the salt cell?

No. The APUREM is the power pack and control box only. You need a compatible cell kit such as the PLC700 or PLC1400 to complete the system.

I have an APURE1400. Is this the right replacement?

Yes for the controller side. APURE1400 was the old combined part number for the power pack plus the 1400 cell. If only the controller failed, order the APUREM and keep your existing cell.

Will it work on 120V or do I need 240V?

Both. The unit accepts either 120V or 240V and is configured during installation.

Does it work with my older ClorMatic or Nature2 Fusion Soft cell?

Yes. The APUREM is field switchable to power PureLink, ClorMatic, and Nature2 Fusion Soft cell kits. It is also the listed replacement for the discontinued CMATICM ClorMatic power pack.

Can I connect it to pool automation?

Yes. It integrates with Jandy AquaLink and iAquaLink systems so chlorine output can be managed alongside the rest of your equipment.

Does it read salt level?

Yes. The LCD shows salinity along with chlorine production, cell mode, water temperature, and water flow, and it runs built in diagnostics.

Can I install this myself?

This is a hard wired electrical component mounted at the equipment pad. Installation should be done by a licensed electrician or a qualified pool professional, and local electrical code applies.

Is the cell interchangeable between 700 and 1400?

The power pack supports either, but the cell has to match your pool volume. The PLC700 is sized for smaller pools and the PLC1400 for larger ones. Match the cell to your pool, not to the power pack.
