This freeze protection thermostat helps protect pool and spa equipment from freezing conditions by automatically activating connected equipment when the outdoor temperature drops below a user-adjustable setpoint. Designed specifically for 240V, 60 Hz applications, it supports motor loads up to 3 HP at 240V. The thermostat is housed in a heavy-duty Type 3R metal enclosure suitable for outdoor installations.

Product Overview
The PF1102 is part of Intermatic's PF1100 Series and is designed to help prevent freeze damage to connected pool and spa equipment. When outdoor temperatures fall below the thermostat's user-adjustable setpoint, the control can turn the pump and heater ON to maintain water circulation and help protect the system.
This model is the thermostat-only configuration in a Type 3R metal enclosure and does not include the mechanical timer mechanism found on the PF1102T. With a 3 HP motor rating at 240 VAC, it is suited for freeze-protection and pump-control applications where automatic cold-weather operation is required.
