ԱՊՐԱՆՔԻ ՈՒՂԵՑՈՒՅՑ
This kit pairs the Jandy APUREM AquaPure power pack with the Jandy PLC1400 PureLink salt cell, sold together as one complete salt chlorination system for pools up to 40,000 gallons. Buying both pieces together means you get a matched set in one order instead of tracking down the power pack and the cell separately.
Jandy sells the power pack and the cell as two separate parts. The APUREM is the control center and the PLC1400 is the cell that actually produces the chlorine. Neither one works without the other, so this kit puts them together. If you already have a working power pack and only need a cell, buy the PLC1400 on its own. If your cell is still good and only the controller failed, buy the APUREM on its own.
The APUREM power pack mounts at the equipment pad and converts incoming AC power into the low voltage DC current the cell needs. The PLC1400 cell plumbs into the return line, where dissolved salt passes over ruthenium coated titanium plates and is converted into chlorine. The chlorine sanitizes the water, then reverts to salt and the cycle repeats, so you are not hauling and dosing chlorine all season.
The front panel LCD shows chlorine output, cell mode, salinity, water temperature, and water flow, with built in diagnostics. Output adjusts in precise increments so you can dial production to pool size and season. The cell runs a self cleaning cycle to limit calcium buildup, and the whole system integrates with AquaLink and iAquaLink automation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is in the box?
Two boxes. One holds the APUREM power pack and control box, the other holds the PLC1400 cell kit. Together they make a complete working salt system.
I used to order an APURE1400. Is this the same thing?
Yes. Jandy discontinued that single part number and split it into a power pack and a cell sold separately. This kit is that same APUREM plus PLC1400 combination, ordered as one item.
What size pool does this handle?
Up to 40,000 gallons. For smaller pools, the PLC700 cell is the right match instead. Match the cell to your pool volume, not to the power pack.
Can I buy just one piece?
Yes. The APUREM power pack and the PLC1400 cell are both sold individually. Buy the kit when you need both.
Do I need 120V or 240V?
Either works. The power pack accepts both and is configured during installation.
Can I connect it to pool automation?
Yes. It integrates with Jandy AquaLink and iAquaLink systems so chlorine output can be managed alongside the rest of your equipment.
Does it read salt level?
Yes. The LCD shows salinity along with chlorine production, cell mode, water temperature, and water flow, and it runs built in diagnostics.
Do I still need to add salt?
Yes. Salt is not included and is purchased locally. The amount depends on your pool volume and current salt reading.
Can I install this myself?
The power pack is a hard wired electrical component and the cell plumbs into the return line. Installation should be done by a licensed electrician or a qualified pool professional, and local electrical and plumbing code applies.
Can I buy just the cell later?
Yes. The PLC1400 cell is a wear item and is available on its own when it reaches the end of its service life. The power pack stays in place.
