Why is my pool cleaner hose sinking or tangling?
The most common cause is worn or waterlogged hose floats. They lose buoyancy slowly, so the problem sneaks up on you over a season or two. Here's what usually goes wrong:

- A float fell off somewhere along the way and nobody noticed. One missing float can make a whole section of hose droop.

- Drop the float in the water by itself. It should sit high and pop right back up when you push it under.
